We had the pleasure of connecting with Josh, and we're excited to share our conversation with him below.

What inspired you to start your journey or business? 

I was a reluctant small business founder and owner but have since found the journey to be incredibly rewarding, albeit challenging. Fast forward almost 12 years, and I wouldn't change anything.

What challenges have you faced along the way, and how did you overcome them?

Outside of my own mistakes, a top challenge is always getting new clients on a shoestring budget.

What do you love most about what you do?

The flexibility and the fact that my time is my own.

How does your work or passion contribute to the Pacific Northwest community?

I love supporting small business owners in the region. 

An example of that is Business Brew, a small monthly gathering I facilitate.

What inspires or motivates you every day?

My faith and family.

What advice would you give to someone looking to follow a similar path?

Find a mentor, a CPA, and a business attorney :)

What are your goals for the next 1-3 years?

(re)Build a financially stable business.

What’s something people might not know about you?

At one point in my life, I was a musician.

What’s your favorite way to relax or recharge in the Pacific Northwest?

Spending time with my family at the lake, mountain biking, and snowboarding.

What’s a hidden gem in the Pacific Northwest that everyone should know about?

Waitts Lake.
